In this Fashion Show we will share the best examples of our Guild’s creative use of sewing, embellishing, weaving, stenciling, screen and block printing, hand-dyeing, beading, embroidering and more, on clothing, jewelry, hats, and bags of all types and sizes. Designs for women, men and children.

Since our beginnings, wood and fiber have fueled our development by filling basic needs. With these needs met, artists look for new ways to manipulate materials. There is artistry in problem solving!
In “Mind Over Matter”, these materials and methods are advanced in unexpected ways by artists Dona Anderson, Emily Barletta, Erik and Martin Demaine, Jessica Drenk, Lisa Kokin, Christopher Kurtz, Polly Adams Sutton.
Also featured: Veiled Portal, a sight specific installation created as a collaboration by the members of the Tampa Bay Surface Design Guild.
